They said your life would flash before your eyes when you die.

I saw the stage, and the damn lucky mic stand.

I saw 5 amazing guys, and the awesomeness beyond any explanation.

I saw the smile that melted me into a puddle of goo.

I surely died happy in fangirl’s heaven called David Cook’s concert~  ♥

That’s Kyle’s hair right there, hardly noticeable because of photoshop’s smart blur filter. I did not cheat, it’s another band banner!

Please send an ME team to pick up my body from The Pageant. I died because of this epic concert on my friggin’ birthday.

Death by David Cook is definitely a perfect way to go.

Refresh. Refresh. Refresh~

New header!

woot~ the 5th one this year. I didn’t realize I changed it that often. lol

I currently have this photo on everything from my laptop to my notebook-turned-scrapbook to my cellphone to my blog now.

I’m pretty sure I’ll go back to the photo string one though, I really like how clean it looks. :)

I think I should turn my director into a David Cook’s fanboy. Well, trying to, at the very least~ LOL

He’s been teasing me several times everyday ever since I returned from my trip. So, today in our meeting…

director: hey sara, is david cook coming out with a CD? (same question every time lol)
me: yes yes
director: good, so he has more than 1 good song, huh?
me: *cracks* you do like him, don’t you?!
director: oh sure, i’ve been rocking out to his songs last night~ *winks*
me & boss: *falls off chair laughing*

see how cool my office is? XD

OMG This week episode of GLEE! I’m laughing so hard right now~ XDD

Alright, better be a healthy kid tonight, I need at least 8 hours of sleep to kick this exhaustion away.

Have a great weekend, peeps! :)

the office

November 19, 2009 | et cetera |

sleepy day, perfect weather to be in bed.

Scene from yesterday afternoon.

I was having a 1-on-1 meeting with my boss in his office when our director walked by my desk. You know, when you pressed ctrl+alt+del to lock your computer, the desktop wallpaper would appear.

director: *loudly talks from my desk* hey sara…
me: yup?
director: is this David Cook guy still coming out with a CD?
me: eh? *ROFL*
another manager in the office: *bursts out laughing*
boss: *snickers*
me: he had an album out since last year! (one year ago today actually!)
director: he’s not that one hit wonder kind right?
me: oh nooooo, he’s way better than that!!! he’s really really really good! *refrains from the word “awesome” as I sound childish when I said this word for some reasons*
boss: *grins*
another manager in the office: *is still laughing*
director: just checking.. (since I’ve changed my desktop wallpaper like 15 times in the last 2-3 months, and he had to bare with it during some meetings~)
me: his next album should come out next year! (and I shall disappear again for his concerts! lol)
director: just checking…
me: *dies giggling*

I love my office. LOL They all knew that I just went to the concerts and they totally love teasing me! plus my director is seriously hilarious!

Scene from last month.

director: sara, why do I have so many reds on my scorecard? (we use stoplights to indicate the health of the business, green = good, yellow = almost, red = uh oh)
me: *looks at him for 2 seconds* red is a good color for chinese people…
director: *is silent for 5 seconds* are we in china right now?!
me: well, no, but it’s all about global diversity~
director: *stares at me blankly* *walks away* *walks back 15 seconds later* that was a good answer, btw.

ROFL!!!

I really have a good working environment. I just told my boss yesterday that I love working for our company, and I love working here since we have a great team! :)

Life is good!

Skymall

Home.

Safe and sound and (love) sick.

Back to Seattle rain.

Back in the office.

Back to reality.

One thing I learned during this trip, Skymall Magazine has some hilarious stuff .

Like, friggin’ hilarious stuff. lol

I normally don’t pay attention to this magazine as I usually doze off before the plane even takes off. However, I was riding on a major emotional roller coaster during one leg of my trip and my brain refused to shut down for once, so I flipped through the magazine to kill time.

And I laughed my butt off at some items!

This one has to be my all time favorite~ ↓

The Telekinetic Obstacle Course.

This is the game that uses your focused brain waves to maneuver a ball through an obstacle course. A headband and two earlobe clips mearsure theta wave activity produced by your brain (similar to EEG monitoring technology used by medical professionals).

As you relax and concentrate, the headband sends a wireless signal (based on your mental commands) to the game’s air fan, which increases or decreases its speed, suspending or lowering a foam ball through one of eight obstacles, including hoops, teeter-totters, baskets, or chutes.

The obstacles may be interchanged; includes nine total obstacles. Requires four C batteries and three AAA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 15 1/4″L x 10″W x 5 1/2″H. (2 lbs.)

Seriously? ROFL!

Oh, btw, I think this one is perfect for David Cook while he’s on his tour bus!!

The World’s Largest Crossword Puzzle.

Holding a Guinness record for its size, this crossword hangs on a full 7′ by 7′ of wall space and has 28,000 clues for over 91,000 squares. It’s a challenge that can take months, even up to a year, to complete. A 100-page clue book, with no repeats, provides the hints. For the lone wordsmith, it folds for lap or tabletop solving. The puzzle grid and 4′ by 4′ answer grid are printed on sturdy paper stock. Crossword can be tacked or taped to the wall. Comes with a storage box. Ages 12 and up. (2 lbs.)

yup, definitely a perfect gift for him! :)

New desktop wallpaper for office laptop, again~

DC-mke

I think he’s a little too sepia-ish on my PC though, probably have to fix it later. It’s actually quite annoying because the colors looked fine on a Mac. Or maybe it’s just my 2nd monitor here at work? hmm, will see how it looks on projector screen this afternoon.

btw, attempting photoshop without a mouse was totally insane~ LOL
