In an attempt to distract myself, I’ve been reading a bunch of fanfictions lately. nope, not T&T or TxT, not even JE or BL if you’re curious. I can be normal for once. LOL

Anyway, I came to a conclusion that being an overseas fangirl is like reading a fanfiction.

• you found a very nice fanfiction in a locked forum with cryptic way to get inside
• once you fell in love with the main character(s), you could only pray that the story will go on and on and on, and not ending with just a oneshot
• you have to pay gazillion amount to get full access to that cryptic forum in order to see the 3D version of your characters
• you’re damn frustrated because you have no control whatsoever on how the story will play out
• you try your best to support the author, to show your love for the characters
• sadly, the author doesn’t really understand the readers at all *grumbles*
• the plot can start out soooo good, but the author decides to pull a major ‘epic fail’ on you with ridiculous plot or LACK, thereof
• if that’s not ebil enough, you’re dying for an update *coughs* you want so bad to know what the hell is going to happen next to your favorite boys characters
• you changed your strategy from asking nicely to begging for an update
• but the release never comes T__T
• you comment, you review, but the author doesn’t care
• at the same time, this damn author decided to split your main characters up, and put them into multiple AU fics seperately, mostly oneshot at a time
• these new fics are great, but you still hope as hell to see both characters continue their story together in the original fic
• every once in a while, the author would decide to delete some oneshot fics, so you can’t go back to relive those experience reread them, simply just to torture you
• there are tons of fanfictions out there that basically suck but the authors of those stories update more often, hence, those stories get more reviews
• lots of readers jumped ship to the other stories, just because they thought the author of ‘this’ story ditch these nice characters already v__v;
• loyal readers cannot do a damn thing

Strange timing!

It was this morning when I was listening to Black Butterfly on the way to work that I thought about Takki’s single. I was hoping it’d be something along the line with BB since I love the performance in One! so much (especially when he pumped his shoulder, turned around and showed us his butt! LOL) and I hope to see that with my own eyes. But then I realized that Takki’s composed songs are usually rockish or ballad, so I just kept on daydreaming while driving to the office.

Then I saw the clip on Mich’s blog…

Tono in white… red hanky .. *faints* but but… Tono… don’t you think it’s time for a haircut? XDD

The beginning of the song reminded me of Hong Kong movie OST. What’s wrong with me and HK movie soundtrack? LOL Sadame reminded me of OST too! Live singing always makes me nervous for some reasons, but Takki made it through woohooo~

When he started talking, I was like YES OST! Especially the second verse where the music ramped up~

And all of the sudden my jaw dropped to the floor.

Oh.My.God!

The slow ballad changed into latin, and I let out a very high pitched squee in my office! XDD Granted that it’s during lunch break, but that kind of sound wasn’t really appropriate for the office environment at all. LOL

The first part of the latin portion was a bit strange to me, might take a few more goes to get familiar with, but I fell instantly for the hook verse, it brought back a lot of fun memories on dance floor when I was taking ballroom/latin classes.

I know he probably didn’t have a lot time to prepare, and the furitsuke looked kinda goofy (especially that spirit fingers and ‘benus’ moves) but I’m sure this will improve HEAPS when 1/1/09 arrives! (maybe add some butt wiggling during ‘let’s shake the world’ hee..heee… )

The white outfit fitted with the ballad portion, but when the music shifted to latin beats, his prince charming outfit was kinda out of place. I’m hoping to see him strip on stage. LOL No, I mean shred some clothes. Well, Yes, strip! XD

I think tank top will work better with this dance number, just like what he wore during Black Butterfly! Come on, Tono, let’s pull some sort of a magic 2-second costume changing thing, I want to see your biceps!

He can do that right? I remember seeing T&T pulling their outer pants off on stage in a split second (Go con maybe?), jacket and shirt shouldn’t take much longer! LOL

ps. That Ikanaide baton must go! I couldn’t help giggling like a lune when I saw it. Takki, I know you missed Tsubasa but you’d better return the stick to your baby, please!

I went out to an early birthday lunch with my team last Friday. Then when I got home, I just realized that we’re having another early birthday dinner since my brother was leaving for Thailand on Saturday. My sister came over and made a very yummy Czech dish. Not to mention that she brought with her some super yummy cakes too! woohooo~

Didn’t do much over the weekend, enjoyed tons of rest which is always a plus.

Went to work today (everyone at the office asked why I didn’t take today off. I was like.. eh? is it a tradition that you’re not supposed to work on your birthday? Can I go home now? LOL

My parent’s friends took us out for a very nice dinner at Southcenter (still couldn’t call it Westfield Mall LOL) today. My sister also bought me another red velvet cake. Super delicious! We ordered some ice cream and creme brule to go with it. Sooooooo soooo goood. Then all of a sudden, after we got rid of the entire red velvet cake, the waitress brought me another big piece of cake! OMG! The staff came over and sang me a happy birthday too *giggles* I was full to the max. Probably need 10 more sessions of hot yoga to shred all my extra calories today! LOL

After dinner, we walked over to the Apple store. I got myself a Macbook as a b’day present today *beams* Big thanks to my big brother, sister, uncle and flowerypoopoo-san! You guys are the best! Thank you Thank you!! ^__^

Came home and decided to skip Heroes tonight so I could play with my brand new toy ^__^ Bugged flowerypoopoo-san for the past 3 hours, Photoshop was a pain to reinstall, I’m telling you! Migration Assistant couldn’t bring the registration info over, so I had to manually delete a bunch of files, 3-4 times, installed and uninstalled *zap zap* Almost drove me nuts to the point of reinstalling OS X, but I finally got it! My shiny Macbook is set and ready. YAY!

Tomorrow, my boss will bring in a cake for us.. yes, for us, his birthday is Wednesday, so we decided to celebrate together. But my other co-worker will secretly bring in another cake on Wednesday for him as a ‘surprise’. LOL Definitely a carb and sugar week for me!

oh well, I love November! LOL
