addiction!

May 26th, 2008

Have you ever seen those ¥100 pin machines all around Japan? The one that you insert a ¥100 coin, twist the knob 2-3 times to get a tiny plastic ball with a pin inside?

I’m seriously addicted to those machines xD

It all started when I went to Hokkaido in February 2006. I got these 7 pins back home as souvenirs along with a bunch of keychains and magnets that I collected.

Once I got back home, I took a closer look at these pins and I whacked myself for not getting more! ^^” They’re such nice collectible items that reminded me of each place I visited.

So, when I went to Japan in May 2007, I decided to get a bunch more, but in fact, when I counted it’s only 13 of them! LOL Anyway, look at Shanao-sama!! I went to Kyoto with A-san the day before T&T concert, and I got this pin! What a coincidence~~~~ ^__^

Then, I went back to Japan again in November 2007 and hit almost every single damn machine I could find xDD

And got a total of 49 pins this time! xD I started of with getting only a few from each city, but it’s got slightly out of control towards the end of the trip. LOL I was pretty lucky I only got a few duplicated ones. And once I got them, I just gave to either A-san, I-san or T-chan.. and they would donate ¥100 to me so I could have another try ^^

Usually, out of 10 styles per each machine, there’d be an ugly one that I really didn’t want. So I used it as a stop sign, whenever I got the ugly one, I’d stop playing with that machine. LOL

The most hilarious one was when I-san, T-chan and I went to Marine World. We were walking around killing time but didn’t want to leave the exhibition yet. Then, I saw 2 machines outside the door, so I walked out and started inserting ¥100 coin… and the first one I got was the ugliest Marine World mascot that I said I didn’t want!!! Look how ugly it is! LOL

And we couldn’t get back inside the building! LOL it’s one of those one-way sliding door!! We had to wait until someone left so we could sneak back in. I-san almost strangled me as we got weird look from people around there XD

Anyway, these three are my favorite ones… Shanao-sama, Miyajima, and LaVenDer. Quite obvious, huh? LOL

And caught on film at Dazaifu as a proof of addiction~ xD

Weeeheeee! I finally completed my travelogue for another trip to Japan in 2007! DONE!

When I first told people about this trip, everyone asked me why I would want to go to Japan when there’s no T&T activities. A-san, I-san and T-chan were the answer ^^ (plus it’s a proof that I do have a life! XDD) We joined force once again to create a fun-filled, super crack time together. It was superb!! And I escaped from being hit by a bunch of dried branches, kudos to the weird weather this year. LOL

Thanks girls, for such a wonderful memory! I hope to see you all again soon! m(_ _)m

For those of you who take a peek at my travelogue, thank you for reading and staying with me! ^^

Day 1-2: On the run, once again!

Day 3: Toyota City, Nagoya

Day 4: Nara

Day 5: Kyoto

Day 6: Himeji Castle

Day 7: Miyajima

Day 8: Mt. Aso & Kurokawa Onsen

Day 9: Kurokawa Onsen & Kumamoto Castle

Day 10: Being-a-lazy-bum day xD

Day 11: Marine World

Day 12: Dazaifu

Day 13: Johnnys Family Club, Shibuya

Day 14: Back to work!

Work is still crazy, but my new group is so nice and funny, such a great group of people to work with. They made me feel I’m a part of the team right away. It’s such a different feeling compared to when I moved last time..

btw, I had a strong urge to slap someone (x2) I had to deal with last week, but managed to refrain myself. What else could I say, kids these days… they just take things for granted.. -__-”

Going 5 months straight without a single holiday or long weekend (plus working on Saturday sometimes) can drive people nuts easily.

Speaking of that, my family will be going down to LA next month. For a concert. Too bad it’s not T&T, but oh well, good enough for the time being! LOL I’m waiting for date/time confirmation before booking a flight. We haven’t been to a Thai concert in such a long time. Plus, Asanee & Wasan are one of my most favorite Thai artists growing up, so it will be fun! ^^ My brother and my sister are so excited about this. For real, Asanee & Wasan’s first world tour, and they’re coming to the US, to us! I was telling my brother, no matter what, we must go! XDD

And my travelogue continues….

Day 8: Aso-san & Kurokawa Onsen

Day 9: Kurokawa & Kumamoto Castle

Surprise! I’m still working on this travelogue. LOL In fact, I was thinking about dropping this new year resolution already. But once I saw some pictures from Enbujou-Love pamphlet, I changed my mind.

Tono at Miyajima.

For crying out loud, how could I not finish this report? xD

So, here we go! Douzo!

Day 4: Nara

Day 5: Kyoto

Day 6: Himeji

Day 7: Miyajima

Other than that, life was pretty crazy for the past 2 weeks. So many things have been going on lately. I’m exhausted. But happy though. LOL

Also, the news of T&T new single KoiUta brightened up my day! ^___^

I listened to the ripped version from Osen the other day and really like it already. T&T Ballad is ♥

PROGRESS is interesting. My first impression was that it’s going to be a story about them, kinda going forward together, something like that ^^ I sure hope this will be a fierce dance track with a lot of ero moves xD

Let’s see if the CD will come in heart-shape for the Koi version ;)

Can’t wait for June 4th! Please let KoiUta PV be their pink world!

ps. Takki’s CM kills me! SO CUTE!!!! KYAAAAAA!!

Last but not the least: OTSUKARESAMA DESHITA, TONO~~~~~~

I don’t know why, but Takki always has this kind of split second moments that melts me into a puddle of goo. The way he dragged his index finger across his lips during this [Black Butterfly] performance was so freakingly hot, I was seduced~ (as if I haven’t been fallen head over heels already!) *LOL*

I didn’t actually claim this picture at 10variations community, but I followed their rules. Plus, I’ve added my own restriction: no text. For those of you who’ve seen my works before, text is almost a must for my icons, so I tried to challenge myself this time ^^

[on to the icons]

btw, I went to Apple store to take a look at Macbook Air. I wasn’t sure if I left any drool behind XD

And the iPod mini in my car happened to die, so I had to slap myself from getting a new one since my 30gb one is still going strong ^^” I swear pink is not my favorite color, but don’t you think this pink Nano is cute?

Also, the only 2008 New Year resolution that has yet to be broken and I intend to keep it that way! ^^ A continuation of my November trip. Douzo!

Day 3: Toyota City, Nagoya
