btw, I haven’t doubled the resolution to match iPhone 4 shiny retina display because I’m stuck with 3GS for at least another year so I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care! *lol*

The third and final (maybe not *lol*) wallpaper from my inspired-by-God is-ad series.
I’ve got way better at font selection, but I spent gigantic amount of time on lyrics!! Compared to the previous two wallpapers (NEAL & ANDY), I was more familiar with DC songs, so I thought it’d be much easier to work on this one.
HA! THINK AGAIN! Because I know the songs and I love these lyrics, it means, instead of a word/phrase from each song, I wanted to use every single line from each song that I had to remind myself: this is a 1280×800 photoshop file, not a newspaper *headdesks*
Anyway, all lyrics from Analog Heart and David Cook, plus Make Believe, You & I, We’re Only Honest When We’re Sleeping, Souvenir and This Year (actually, I was thinking about other unreleased songs from DCTR too, but decided against that thought because a) I’ve only heard snippets of those songs, and b) I ran out of space already *lol*).
David’s photo was taken at Seattle show back in August’09, second row, smack right in the middle, the best place to die ♥ Removing Kyle’s drum set behind him took me a while, but not as bad as trying to create that blotchy background of nothingness *adds too many random layers* XD
90+ layers for final product, took me 3 days~ At least photoshop didn’t crash this time *lol*

I still spent loads of time on font selection, which is normal at any given time *lol* What I didn’t expect was that my photoshop crashed 3 times. THREE TIMES! D: Even when I saved my work every 5-10 minutes, there’s a lot of changes during each time span, moving word layers around, changing fonts to make them fit. So when it crashed, it’s a massive pain to come back and redo all my RANDOMNESS when it came to fonts!
ANDY SKIB, WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?! *lol*
Anyway, six hours later, here comes my very first full-size Andy Skib wallpaper! woot woot!

I’ve been itching to make a Neal wallpaper since last month but didn’t really know exactly what I want.
Then, on the first day of my family trip to East coast last month, taking the subway in NYC, I saw this poster and I was like, OMG IDEA! lol
2 weeks after that day, we’re back in Seattle, but I got kicked out of my house for a week (long story *grumbles*) with barely enough time to sleep.
Anyway, I’m back home, FINALLY! and I’m celebrating with photoshop! ;)
Font selection was a pain in my butt, but that’s expected as I’ve always spent too much time on fonts. However, what surprised me the most is that I spent the longest time deciding on color. Seriously, I just couldn’t pick a color for NFT! In the end, I decided to go with purple to mirror NT.com, but I do have a bunch of copies in pink, red, blue, green, etc etc, yeah color wheel. heh, I even have a few in rainbow, if anyone’s interested~ lol
All words are from MWK lyrics (thanks to NT.com!), match them to song titles if you can! Since I’m quite a dork, I pulled bits and pieces from every single song~ ♥ Neal’s pic was from Morongo Casino in Feb, a proof that Twitter begging totally worked! *lol*
