Don’t get me wrong. I’m stoked to see Devin. He’s REALLY good. His guitar sounds different, which is exciting.

I just couldn’t help missing seeing Neal next to Dave.

Yes, I saw Neal, happy and smiley at Uproar. I got to talk to him which I consider myself lucky. But it’s just not the same.

And Dave once said “Neal is my secret weapon” which makes me want to cry a bucket of tears.

Anyway, I know I’m whining. Probably because tonight tour stop is at The Pageant. I have fond memories of that place. #BestBirthdayEver

I’m sure I’ll grow to love Devin once I see him live next week. Just wait for that! *lol*  :)

You know what? I’ve been trying to say how much I miss Neal without depreciating Devin, but there just seems to be no perfect way to say it…

And to say Neal is my favorite when I (obviously… or not) love all of The Anthemic to death seems so unfair, but it’s true.

I agree that Devin is great and he sounds different, but I have to accustom myself to him cause I’m so used to listening to/watching Bar-ba-sol (and everything else) done Neal-style. I’m sure I’ll grow to love him in the near future too ;)

So… how was Devin at your show? Beside being awkwardly adorable? lolz

I understand how you feel. I didn’t want to compare Devin to Neal because there’s no way I could do that without being biased *lol*

He’s so awkward offstage, but he’s really good on stage. Too bad he didn’t walk around much, so I had a hard time seeing him in the dark corner (omg, don’t get me start on stage lights D:)

We need more time to hear him more, I think. To get used to him. :) He sounds different, which is okay for every song, except BBS. I just can’t. *headdesks*

    I know, right?? BBS… *sigh*
Well, they’re just different and it’s not necessarily a bad thing :)

Your stage light story scares me. Lol. I’ll be seeing The Script next month and it’s indoor, I’m gonna depend on the lights too, then. Yikes. And I’m in no way near the great photographer that you are! Hope the lights will be cooperative ;)

Thanks for your recap, always enjoy reading it! Sometimes I envy you, how you take pictures, how you write, how fun you are… ;)

I will try my best to get over my BBS sulking *lol*

Actually the stage light wasn’t so bad (no, I lied, it’s bad, but there’s a workaround!). Just be patient and wait for a spotlight to offset the extreme color. That’s how I shot mine.

The Script show may be tricky. I remember when they toured with DC, their lights were like super futuristic style, dark bright dark bright. *lol* Not sure how they are now. Wait for your moment, good luck and more important, have fun! :)

I’m glad you enjoyed my blog, and I’m happy you said I’m fun, not crazy *lolz* ;)
