sisters day out!

March 28, 2010 | et cetera, photo |

My sister and I went out on our little food adventure last week (3/20). It was amazing, we almost exploded. lol

First stop is Honore Artisan Bakery in Ballard area.

We had a kouign amann, an onion pastry, and some macarons. It was really delicious that we took the entire family back there again today (3/28) lol

meet macarons army! Honore is super famous for its chocolate macarons~ ♥

onion pastry~

spinach and (something) quiche

pear pastry (can’t remember it’s technical name lol)

lemon scone

canelé (spell? lol)

the yumminess of kouign amann! oh em gee sooooo gooooood~ ♥

Next, we went to University of Washington for a cherry blossom photo ops. The Quad was very pretty! I missed working on campus, why the heck did I move to Boeing again? :P

I only brought my small Lumix and my phone since my sister had her Mr. Super Big with her, but she actually forgot a memory card for that camera, oops! lol silly goof~

I seriously need a wide angle lens D:

Next, we moved on to our lunch at Red Mill Burgers!

The line wasn’t that long but we felt like we’re waiting forever~ and I wasn’t even that hungry! lol

OMG LOOK AT THOSE BACONS!

and that’s a really long line when we left!

As if we weren’t super duper full already, my sister took me to another bakery! LOL Hiroki had this killer cheesecake and the chocolate cake was super rich and delicious too~

and love me some MWK t-shirt! ♥

In case you’re wondering, I skipped dinner that evening, and also breakfast and lunch the next day. My next meal was late late late Sunday afternoon. lol
